Hi xuanthinh,

I am now working in VN. Vietnam has many opportunities for foreign workers. If you don't work for yourself, Yo can work for foreign companies there. The life there is also exciting, people are friendly, foods are delicious, Viet women are pretty and sweet, everything are cheap. I found I have a more social life there, more realistic human relationships. Of course, we still sometimes have problems with thieves, or we can be maltreated by some guys. But I love Vietnam as it is, a potential and friendly people, also a tolerent people who can forgive the past ...

Hi,

Big question, is there an age limit to work in Vietnam? How long of a period will the govnerment allow a foreigner to work there? Can a foreigner retire in Vietnam??

Chances are... you can either work for:
1/ Large corporations: This is hard, but could be done, if you do it right and need some lucks. Check for executive search firms available, contact them, throw in your CV, remember to give them few calls sometimes to check for progress. There's about 4 or 5 such firms who can help.

2/ Or looking for opportunities at small company: Ad agencies, local consultancy firms. These normally are fast growing business, and they may need to take in some fresh people with fresh ideas and knowlege, especially from foreigners like you.

3/ English language teaching centers: This is a huge market. I know many foreigners working as English teacher. We, Vietnamese people, are all willing to learn to cope with the development from outside world.

Good luck
