The Asian Languages and Cultures department and UCLA Travel Study Program are proud to offer a new 4-week summer program in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam to study Globalized Vietnam. The program is led by Professor Thu-Huong Nguyen-Vo and will run from July 13 to August 9, 2008. This program is open to all students. Estimated program fee for non-UC students is $4,000. Students will take two courses, “Globalization in Vietnam” and “Globalization in Vietnamese Film and Literature,” with an option to take an additional research seminar course.
